It’s now official. Veteran left-arm spinner Shakti Gauchan, who has hinted that can’t go to Hong Kong for the penultimate series of the World Cricket due to heath reasons, will be staying home when the Nepali squad travels to Hong Kong next month.
Gauchan says he is suffering from haemorrhoids (piles) and would need at least a few weeks to recuperate. “I stayed out after consulting the selectors,” Gauchan said.
The two-match series against Hong Kong starts on Oct 13.
