Design and display
The Vivo Y27 4G has a beautiful design on the back. It has a flat plastic frame with a matte finish. The phone is boxy in design with curved edges. The back is made up of plastic but has a sparkling crystal glass effect.
There is a dual camera setup in the back which consists of two separate camera rings that have a gold colour finish. The cameras also have a slight bump but would not wobble much when you keep it on the back.
The Vivo Y27 4G features an IPS LCD panel with 6.64 inches of display size. It has a resolution of 2388 × 1080 pixels with a pixel density of about 395 ppi. The 90 Hz refresh rate ensures some smooth scrolling while the display boasts a peak brightness of 600 nits. The screen-to-body ratio is about 85.4 per cent, which is good on a budget smartphone.
Performance and storage
The Vivo Y27 4G is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with an octa-core CPU configuration, with four cores clocked at 2.4 GHz (Kryo 265 Gold) and four cores clocked at 1.9 GHz (Kryo 265 Silver). The Mali-G52 MC2 GPU handles graphics processing and runs on Funtouch OS 13, which is based on Android 13.
It comes in a single RAM variant of 6GB and is paired with one storage option of 128GB of internal storage. You can expand it further using an external microSD card of up to 1TB. It also has a virtual RAM feature allowing you to add 6GB more RAM for faster operations.
Camera
The Vivo Y27 4G has an 8 MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture, ideal for capturing selfies and video calls with decent image quality. The front camera can record video 1080p at 30fps.
At the rear, it features a powerful 50 MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2 MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, assisting in creating portrait shots with pleasing background blur. It offers an array of scene modes, including photo, night, portrait, video, 50MP, panorama, live photo, slo-mo, time-lapse, pro, and documents. The rear camera can also record 1080p videos at 30fps.

Powering the Vivo Y27 4G is a 5000mAh battery. Moreover, the phone supports fast charging with a 44W charging capability, ensuring quick refills. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, ensuring wireless internet connectivity and Bluetooth 5.0 for connections with compatible devices.
The phone is equipped with a single speaker for audio playback, and it features a 3.5mm headphone jack for users who prefer wired audio options. To ensure security and convenient access, the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
