Vivo’s popular V series has welcomed its newest member, the Vivo V30 Lite 5G. The smartphone was officially released in Mexico. It is the first smartphone to feature in the V30 series as the previous V29 series has run its course. The V29 series included many members including V29, V29e, V29 Pro, V29e (India) and V29 Lite.
The V30 Lite is not an entirely new model; it is an upgraded version of the Vivo V29e global edition. The differences lie in adding a depth sensor, SIM options, NFC support, and memory choices. Apart from these enhancements, the smartphones are quite similar.

Design and Display
The Vivo V30 Lite 5G design is the same as the V29e. The glass back with shiny patterns makes it look premium. The camera module sits at the top left corner. The major change from the V29e is the addition of a depth sensor which sits just below the flash light. It also has the iconic Aura ringlight which can adjust according to lighting conditions from warm to cold. The frame is made up of plastic and has a shiny brushed aluminium texture.
On the front, it has a hole-punch cutout which houses the selfie camera. The bezels are minimal on all sides which adds to the premium experience.
The Vivo V30 Lite 5G has an AMOLED panel with a 6.67-inch screen size which has a resolution of 2,400 × 1,080 (FHD+). It has a 120Hz refresh rate and a local peak brightness of 1150nit, making it easy to view even in bright sunlight. The colours are vibrant and accurate, covering 100 per cent of the DCI-P3 range and reaching 107 per cent of the NTSC colour saturation. With 394 PPI and a responsive capacitive multi-touch screen, the experience is further enhanced which using the smartphone.
It also has an IP rating of IP54 for dust and water resistance for protection along with a glass front and back for extra protection.
Performance and Storage
Under the hood, the Vivo V30 Lite 5G has a Snapdragon 695 5G chipset built on a 6nm architecture. Its octa-core CPU, comprised of 2×2.2 GHz Kryo 660 Gold cores and 6×1.8 GHz Kryo 660 Silver cores, delivers a balance between power and energy efficiency. The Adreno 619 GPU handles the graphical performance for gaming and multimedia. It runs on Funtouch OS 13 based on the Android 13 operating system.
As for the memory option, the Vivo V30 Lite 5G is equipped with a single RAM option of 12GB which has been paired with one storage option of 256GB. It also has an extended RAM function or virtual RAM which can add 12GB more RAM using the internal storage.
Camera
The Vivo V30 Lite 5G has a triple camera setup on the back. It comprises a 64MP primary lens with an f/1.79 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with an aperture of f/2.2 and a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4.
The rear flash and Aura ring light dual-colour temperature from warm to cold and can be adjusted manually for the best shots making it ideal for the best lighting conditions while shooting photos and videos. As for the features of the rear camera night, portrait, photo, video, micro short, high resolution, panoramic, documents, slow motion, time-lapse, super moon, pro, double exposure, dual view, live photo and macro. The rear camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps.
On the front, the Vivo V30 Lite 5G features a 50MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. It includes features such as night, portrait, photo, video, micro short, high resolution, double exposure and live photo. It also can record 1080p videos at 30fps.
Battery and Others
The Vivo V30 Lite 5G has a Li-ion 4,800 mAh battery which can last around a day in decent usage. Charging is fast with the support of 44W wired charging. Connectivity is versatile with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.1 for fast and reliable connections for both internet and device pairing. It supports LTE and 5G networks for swift data speeds.
It uses a Nano-SIM card and boasts a stereo speaker for audio output. It includes various sensors like an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor, gyroscope, and an under-display fingerprint sensor.
The Vivo V30 Lite 5G is available in two colour options; Black forest and Rose gold.
