Kathmandu, September 6
The United States government’s Acting Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs Elizabeth Horst has arrived in Kathmandu.
The US Embassy in Nepal says Horst is in the capital to attend the Climate Action Champions Network Conference.
Of late, the engagement of US officials is increasing in Nepal and it has made Nepali observers raise eyebrows. Interpreters say this has pushed Nepal on the verge of shifting its foreign relations.
