In addition, it has also demanded that the constituencies be divided respectfully among members of the alliance.

Though the party took part in a meeting called to discuss the formation of such an alliance yesterday, the party has clarified that its conditions should be met to make sure its involvement in the partnership.

Chairman Yadav, senior leader Ashok Rai and leader Ram Sahaya Yadav had attended the meeting yesterday.

Meanwhile, it has been learned that the leftist alliance of CPN-UML and CPN-Maoist Centre is also wooing the Forum to join the leftist group.

Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Naya Shakti Party’s chief Baburam Bhattarai had approached the party for partnership before the two agreed for merger with the UML.

The party has clarified that it is open to join any alliance for the elections, but it is not in the favour of any long-term partnership.
