The party chairman, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, inspected a private house near the St Xavier’s College that the party is renting, on Wednesday.

It has been learned that the party has already finalised a deal with the house owner.

After the party’s central office in Balkhu of the capital was severely damaged in the 2015 earthquake, the party has been operating from the office of Pasang Lhamu Mountaineering Foundation in Dhumbarahi.

It is still one and a half years before the contract with the foundation expires, but the party is leaving the place.
