Kathmandu, January 5
The United Democratic Madheshi Front, which has been spearheading a movement in Madhesh for about four months, has formed a three-member taskforce for holding talks with the taskforce of three major political parties — the Nepali Congress, the CPN-UML and the UCPN-Maoist.
The UDMF meeting held at the Bijuli Bazaar-based office of Tarai Madhesh Democratic Party formed the taskforce comprising three UDMF leaders, namely Hriyadesh Tripathi of the TMDP, Rajendra Shrestha of the Federal Socialist Party and Ram Naresh Yadav of the Tarai Madhesh Sadbhavana Party.
