Kathmandu, May 13
The Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed two new cases of Covid-19 in Kapilvastu and Banke districts of the country on Wednesday.
With this, the number of Covid-19 cases in the country has reached 219.
The ministry says a 22-year-old man in Kapilvastu municipality of Kapilvastu and a 36-year-old man in Nepalgunj of Banke tested positive for the virus today.
Meanwhile, 35 of the 219 patients have achieved recovery so far, according to the ministry’s spokesperson Bikas Devkota. Two patients were discharged from the hospitals of Rupandehi and Chitwan today, according to him.
