Dadeldhura, October 9
Two persons died when a jeep fell off the road in Bungal Municipality of Bajhang district in Sudurpashchim province of the country on Tuesday morning.
The victims have been identified as 56-year-old Dhan Bahadur Bohora and 65-year-old Bishna Devi Bohora, permanent residents of Bedkot-5 in Kanchanpur districts.
Both had breathed their last on the spot, according to DSP Praveen Dhital of the District Police Office.
The four wheeler (Se 1 Ja 726), carrying 14 passengers, had fallen around 200 metres down the road at Thimibagar of Bungal at around 6:30 am today.
Other 12 persons have sustained injuries and they are undergoing treatment.
DSP Dhital says police have launched a probe to identify causes of the accident.
