Kailali, August 19
Two children, aged 12 and 5, have died after being buried in a landslide in Midigaun, Bungal municipality-5 of Bajhang, Sudurpaschim, on Wednesday.
The victims have been identified as Sachin Tamrakar (12) and Sudeep Okheda (5), informs Chief District Officer Kamal Raj Bhandari. The two boys had died after the landslide buried the house of local Pratap Tamrakar.
Other four persons have sustained injuries in the incident. They have been identified as Pipala Tamrakar (40), Sunita Tamrakar (18), Anil Tamrakar (16), and Santoshi Tamrakar (12), according to Bhandari. They are undergoing treatment at a local health facility.
