The fourth edition of the Top of the World Golf Classic will be held in Lo-manthang, Mustang, on September 13–14. The tournament is considered one of the world’s most prestigious high-altitude golf competitions.
Mustang Golf Course, the organizer, held a press meet in Pokhara on Sunday to announce the event.
The competition will take place at the Lowathang Golf Course in Lo-manthang, situated at an altitude of 4,700 metres above sea level.
Managing Director of Mustang Golf Course Indra Dhara Bista said more than 60 golfers from Nepal and abroad will participate.
According to Bista, this year’s tournament will be held under the theme “Tee for Climate”, with the aim of spreading awareness about the climate crisis in Mustang.
