Kathmandu, November 21

The three major political parties are holding a meeting on Monday on the issue of Constitution amendment.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, who is also chair of the ruling CPN-Maoist Centre, is convening the meeting with the ruling coalition partner Nepali Congress and the main opposition at Baluwatar at 5 pm.

Three days ago, PM Prachanda had held talks with NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba and UML Chair KP Oli at Baluwatar.

Sunday’s meeting of the UML standing committee had objected to government preparations for Charter amendment, pointing that government was trying to take the step without justifying it.
