Kathmandu, June 16

Nepal has reported the discovery of a suspected monkeypox case in its capital, Kathmandu.

A source says a man who had recently come home from or via Dubai of the UAE has been found ill with similar symptoms. He has been admitted to the Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital, popularly known as Teku Hospital, in Kathmandu.

The Tribhuvan International Airport health desk had forwarded the case with suspicious symptoms to the hospital.
