The Special Court on Monday acquitted four former inspectors general of Armed Police Force of a corruption charge.
Kosh Raj Onta, Shailendra Kumar Shrestha, Basudev Oli and Sanat Kumar Shrestha were facing the charge.
Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority had claimed that they embezzled millions of rupees while producing fake bills of supplies purchased for APF units across the country.
But, a bench of Babu Ram Regmi, Dwarika Man Joshi and Pramod Kumar Shrestha Baidya acquitted them of the charge today.
