Kathmandu, November 29
At least six persons died when a bus heading to Arghakhanchi district of western Nepal from Kathmandu fell off the road and plunged into the Trishuli River in Phisling of Chitwan district on Wednesday morning.
The victims are yet to be identified.
Security personnel rescued 15 passengers. it is not known if anyone is missing as the number of passengers the vehicle was carrying is yet to be ascertained.
DSP Shiva Sharma says security personnel from Nepali Army, Armed Police Force and Nepal Police have launched a rescue operation.
The bus (Lu 2 Kha 291) had fallen into the river at around 9:15 am today.
