Six Congress cadres injured, three missing in Bajura after clash with UML

 

Bajura, November 24

Three cadres of the Nepali Congress are reported missing on Friday, a day after NC sympathisers clashed with members of the UML in Budhiganga Municipality-1 on Wednesday evening.

According to police, Nepali Congress and UML supporters had clashed in Budhiganga over a dispute during the parties’ election campaign. Six NC supporters sustained severe injuries in the clash.

Police said the missing are: Dambar Thapa, Ramesh Nepali and Kishan Nepali. Those receiving treatment are: Krishna Bahadur Thapa, Amma Thapa, Lalit Thapa, Gopal Thapa, Gore Sanai and Lal Nepali.  Krishna Thapa and Amma Thapa are in said to be in critical condition and are receiving treatment at the District Hospital.

Police are conducting a search for the missing.
