Sita Dahal, the wife of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has died.
She died at Norvic Hospital on Wednesday morning.
Sita was rushed to Norvic Hospital after feeling unwell.
She was suffering from progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), a rare neurological disorder along with hypertension and Parkinsons’.
She went into cardiac arrest at 8 am and could not be revived despite resuscitation. She was declared dead at 8.33 am.
Her final rites will be performed at Pashupatinath Temple today.
