Kathmandu, December 19
A man has died in a gang fight between two groups in Golbajaar in the Siraha district of southeastern Nepal on Saturday night.
The victim has been identified as Ram Kumar Sada (26), a resident of Golbajaar, Golbajaar municipality-6 of the district, informs DSP Subas Budhathoki of the District Police Office.
Another person has sustained critical injuries in the fight. Nikesh Sada is undergoing treatment at the RK Mediciti Hospital, informs DSP Budhathoki.
Police say those involved in the gang fight are on the run, and a manhunt is on.
Meanwhile, locals briefly obstructed the East-West Highway demanding an investigation and action against the culprit. Police reopened the highway later.
