Kathmandu, September 13
The death toll in different landslides in Bahrabise municipality of Sindhupalchok district has reached nine as of Sunday afternoon.
DSP Prakash Sapkota of the District Police Office says 22 are still missing.
The victims have been identified as Bhakti Maya Shrestha, Junu BK, Sukalal BK, Sandesh BK, Sarkini Newar, Dhan Lal Newar, Hira Maya Newar, Taksi Shrestha, and Gyani Maya Pradhan, residing in different neighbourhoods of Bahrabise-7.
DSP Sapkota says it is not yet clear if any of the victims belonged to the same family.
Rescue efforts are underway.
