Kathmandu, April 17
Senior journalist Pushkar Lal Shrestha passed away on Wednesday. He was 60.
He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Vayodha Hospital in Balkhu of Kathmandu.
Shrestha was suffering from a nose problem for past five months. Of late, there were some problems in his kidneys also, and had underwent a surgery.
Likewise, doctors had also suspected the infection of Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) virus in him.
Shrestha is the founder of Nepal Samacharpatra daily. He was editor in chief of the paper till the last day of his life.
Family sources inform that his body would be cremated at Pashupati Aryaghat later in the afternoon today.
