Kathmandu, June 26

The eagerly awaited results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) are set to be unveiled tomorrow at 10 am. The decision to make the results public was confirmed today during a meeting of the National Examination Board.

Nandalal Paudel, the Controller of Examinations for Grade 10, informed the media about the final preparations. “We have completed all necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth release of the results. Currently, we are in the final stages of verifying signatures, and preparations will continue late into the night,” stated Paudel.

Further discussions are slated for tomorrow at 7 am, followed by the formal release of the results. This year, a total of 504,414 students from various parts of the country participated in the SEE examinations conducted from March 28 to April 9.

The results will be evaluated based on the grading guidelines introduced in 2078 BS, incorporating separate assessments for theoretical and internal evaluations. To pass each subject theoretically, students must score a minimum of 35 per cent. Subjects with a 75-point theoretical component require a minimum score of 26.25, while a 25-point internal assessment necessitates at least 40 per cent or 10 points.

Under the grading guidelines, students failing to meet the minimum 26.25 scores in subjects with a 75-point theoretical component will receive an ‘N’ grade, necessitating them to take a grade improvement exam if they wish to pursue Grade 11 studies.
