Janakpurdham, November 28
A woman and her two children, aged six and four, have been found dead inside their house in Hajariya, Barahathawa municipality-1 of the Sarlahi district in southeastern Nepal on Sunday.
As the woman has been found hanging, police have suspected she killed her two children before committing suicide. However, further investigation is underway, DSP Madhav Prasad Budhathoki of the District Police Office informs.
The bodies have been sent to the District Hospital in Malangawa for postmortem and the police hope the postmortem reports will also help them resolve the mystery.
The victims have been identified as Kabita Haraji (26), her six-year-old daughter and her four-year-old son.
Kabita’s husband is abroad for employment.
