Sarlahi bike crash kills 2

Two persons died in a motorbike crash in the Sarlahi district of southeastern Nepal on Wednesday.

Police say the rider of the bike (Ja 11 Pa 8945) lost control over the vehicle, and subsequently, it fell off the Amuwa Khola bridge in Ishwapur municipality-13 on the way to Bayalbas from Gaurishankar.

The bike rider Chandan Kumar Sah (32), a resident of Aurahi municipality-1 of the neighbouring Mahottari district, and pillion rider Ram Bishwas Mandal (25), a resident of Pipariya, Kabilasi municipality-2 of Sarlahi died in the accident, informs Police Inspector Jata Shankar Yadav.

Both died on the spot, according to police, adding the bodies have been sent to a hospital for postmortem.
