Samsung Galaxy F22 flaunts a similar design to Galaxy A22 and Galaxy M32. It has a build of a glass front, polycarbonate back and a plastic frame. The colour options of the phone are basic and limited to two only. The back of the phone has horizontal stripes for better grip and preventing fingerprint smudges. This is also a phone that makes you feel its presence on your pocket with weighing around 203 grams and having 9.4mm thickness. It features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The phone features a 6.4mm Super AMOLED display that has a maximum resolution of 720*1,600 pixels and can reach a peak brightness of up to 600 nits. The phone features a 90Hz refresh rate display making use of the phone very smooth. Furthermore, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Samsung Galaxy F22 has a quad-camera setup on the back. The main 48MP camera is housed together with an 8MP (123 degrees) ultrawide and a couple of 2MP macro and depth sensors. On the front, it has a 13MP selfie camera.

The cameras on both ends can record videos in 1080p resolution. The camera captures good photos for its category and the 123 degrees ultrawide camera is really handy for landscape photography.

Performance and battery life

Samsung Galaxy F22 runs on Android 11 with One UI Core 3.1 on top. While the phone is powered by Mediatek Helio G80 (12nm) chipset, the graphics are handled by Mali-G52 MC2. Multitasking on this phone should not be easy.

Verdict

Samsung Galaxy F22 is probably the best value for money smartphone on the market and only Xiaomi’s Redmi 10 Prime gives it a tough go. At this price range, these two are the best options and other smartphones do not even come close. Samsung Galaxy F22 offers a lot for this price range. It has the best display in this category offering a Super AMOLED 90Hz refresh rate display. Not even the Redmi 10 Prime can match this feat.

The quad-camera setup also offers decent photography. Hopefully, there will not be decoy macro cameras in 2022 from smartphone companies, and instead, they shall offer better performance from other cameras on the phone. The battery backup of the phone is also praiseworthy as it provides more than enough power to go through the day. It is just priced above Rs 20,000 but offers way more than the smartphones under Rs 20,000. Along with Redmi 10 Prime, it is the best budget smartphone available in the market.
