Road to T20 World Cup: Nepal beats China by 10 wickets

Nepal have thrashed China by 10 wickets in the ICC World T-20 Qualifiers Asia Group B.

In the match played at the Bayuemas Oval Cricket Stadium Kuala Lumpur, Nepal registered a thumping victory against the northern neighbour. It is Nepal’s fifth consecutive win in the series.

Nepal won the toss and chose to bowl. China, made 26 runs in 13 overs losing all its wickets. China’s seven batsmen were out without scoring. Skipper Hong Ziyang could only manage 11 runs.

Nepal’s Sandeep Lamichhane, Basanta Regmi and Lalit Rajbanshi took three wickets each. The Nepali team chased the target in 11 balls without losing a wicket.
Opener Binod Bhandari and Pradeep Airee scored 24 and 4 runs respectively.
Nepal will play Singapore in the last match of the tournament on Friday. Top three teams from the tournament earn tickets to Asia Qualifier.
