The biodiversity conservation centre of the National Nature Conservation Trust has prepared profile of 172 one-horned rhinos living at the Chitwan National Park so far.

The profiling will make it easier to identify rhinos if they go missing. According to the trust, profiles will make it easier to deal with the situatin if a rhino enters human settlement and other problems rhinos may face. Of late, rhino monitoring has begun with use of mobile apps. Profiling will make this monitoring far easier. The trust will try to profile each and every rhino at the park, which has 605 rhinos.
