A priest has been found shot dead in Madhav Narayan municipality of Rautahat in southern Nepal on Wednesday evening.
The victim has been identified as Shree Ram Sah, the priest of Hanuman Temple, in Khesrahariya, Madhav Narayan-2 of the district. Sah was preparing for dinner after the regular evening worships at the temple when unidentified persons shot at his left temple, according to police.
The District Police Office spokesperson SP Ravi Raj Khadka says Sah died on the spot.
Further investigation is underway.
