Kathmandu, October 15
Nepali cinema industry’s superstar Rajesh Hamal went to the Kirtipur Hospital in Kathmandu on Tuesday to motivate a 15-year-old girl who is undergoing treatment there after being attacked with acid.
Muskan Khatun was attacked on September 6, reportedly after she refused a local boy’s proposal for a relationship.
Hamal looked emotional in seeing Khatun, but he assured her that she would return home soon. The survivor looked happy after the superstar visited her.
During the meeting, Hamal questioned her, “What do you want to be in the future.” In response, Khatun said she would want to develop herself as a doctor. Then, Hamal motivated her, “At this very age, I had made a commitment to becoming an actor, and I became. You should also be a doctor in the future.”
Earlier, some Bollywood actors had released video messages to motivate her.
