Kathmandu, February 8
The rainfall across the country and the snowfall in the mountains, which began on Thursday, is likely to continue on Friday, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.
Senior Meteorologist at the Division Shanti Kandel said that effects of westerly wind system moving from the west towards the east remains active and is likely to cause rainfall until Saturday.
Most areas of the country will remain under cloud cover. Senior Meteorologist Kandel said that the sky over the Kathmandu valley will clear for some time on Friday afternoon, but clouds will come back again in the afternoon.
