Biratnagar, August 26
Ram Prasad Acharya, the brother of CPN-UML secretary Bhim Acharya, has been found dead at his own house in the Sunsari district of eastern Nepal on Thursday morning.
Coincidentally, when the news came out, Bhim Acharya was preparing to get appointed as the chief minister of Province 1 today itself as incumbent Sher Dhan Rai stepped down following an agreement inside the party.
The Sunsari District Police Office says Ram Prasad (59) was found dead at the house located in Inaruwa municipality-3 of the district.
SP Sanjaya Thapa says the investigators have suspected it to be a suicidal case as the deceased’s room was locked from inside. Further investigation is underway.
