Presidential Graduate School graduates 315 students at 10th convocation ceremony

Presidential Graduate School (PGS), affiliated with Westcliff University, USA, held its 10th Convocation Ceremony in Kathmandu on May 30, graduating 315 students from its business and information technology programs.

The ceremony was jointly inaugurated by Dr Ying Iverson, Chief Academic Officer and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Westcliff University, and Laxman KC, Founder and Executive Chairperson of PGS. Degrees were awarded to graduates of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT), Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) programs.

Addressing the gathering, PGS Director and Principal Kalpana Gurung congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to become ethical and visionary leaders capable of contributing to Nepal’s development. She emphasised the importance of continuous learning, innovation, and maintaining a strong connection to the country while pursuing global opportunities.

Speaking at the event, Executive Chairperson Laxman KC highlighted the rapid transformation driven by artificial intelligence, automation, and digital technologies, urging graduates to adapt to change and take leadership roles in shaping the future.

The convocation also recognised academic excellence. Aryan Shrestha of the BSIT program received the President’s Award for Outstanding Student of the Year, while several other graduates were honoured for their academic achievements.
