Garima Chaudhary’s parents brought to Kathmandu for talks with Home Minister

Kathmandu, August 22

The parents of three-year-old Garima Chaudhary, who was murdered in Simara of Bara district, are set to hold discussions with Home Minister Sudan Gurung on Saturday.

Garima’s father Manoj Chaudhary and mother Manmati Chaudhary were brought to Kathmandu from Simara to meet the Home Minister and seek government action over the incident.

According to the Home Minister’s Secretariat, a discussion involving Minister Gurung and the victim’s parents is scheduled to take place at the Ministry of Home Affairs shortly.

The couple arrived in Kathmandu from Simara Airport on Saturday afternoon accompanied by local activists.

Before leaving for Kathmandu, Garima’s father Manoj urged local residents to continue their protest demanding justice for his daughter.

The killing of the three-year-old has sparked outrage among locals, with demands for a swift investigation and action against those responsible.
