Kathmandu, October 9
President Bidya Devi Bhandari is spending her in the hospital on Sunday also. President Bhandari was hospitalised on Saturday as she reported a fever.
Doctors at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital suspected dengue infection and conducted a test, but the head of the state tested negative.
Nonetheless, her fever did not go down yet. Hence, the doctors have suggested President Bhandari spend the second night in the hospital.
Physician Dr Niraj Bam says the president’s x-ray and other tests also have not revealed any significant problem in her. “But, fever, cough and body pain in her are going up since last night. We will keep her in observation in the next 24 hours before deciding when to discharge her.”
