Kathmandu, August 25
Ruling Nepal Communist Party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has met President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Sunday. The two met at President Bhandari’s residence and held an hour-long talk from 9 am to 10 am.
As Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is on his medical visit, Dahal has been holding political meetings with various leaders.
According to a source, Dahal has also had a one-on-one meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokharel.
However, the reason for Dahal meeting two prominent leaders of the government is yet to be known. But, Dahal’s secretariat said that the meeting was held to discuss contemporary political issues.
