Darchula, September 25
A policeman has been found dead at a hotel in Darchula in far-western Nepal on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Dhruva Rawal, a sub-inspector of Nepal Police. Currently stationed in Tikapur of Kailali, he was a permanent resident of Bangabada, Mahakali municipality-4 of the district.
Darchula District Police Office says Rawal’s body was lying in front of a bathroom of a hotel this morning. He was rushed to the District Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Police Inspector Surendra Prasad Joshi says Rawal was recently transferred to Huti Area Police Office in Darchula, and he was on the way to his new workstation.
Police are investigating into the case.
