Pokhara University has invited applications through open competition for the appointment of deans at four faculties.
The university has sought applications from eligible and interested candidates for the vacant dean positions at the faculties of Management; Science and Technology; Humanities and Social Sciences; and Health Sciences.
As part of the dean selection process, candidates are required to submit a strategic plan and an action plan for its implementation, along with their personal details.
According to the university, the action plan should cover a SWOT analysis of the respective faculty, strategic priorities, major programmes and activities, an implementation plan and timeline, resources and budget, and monitoring mechanisms.
The university said candidates will be evaluated not only on their qualifications and experience but also on the strategic plans they present for the development of the respective faculties and their ability to implement those plans.
The university expects the appointment of deans to all four vacant positions to strengthen academic, administrative and strategic leadership.
