PM Oli undergoes plasmapheresis, health condition normal

Kathmandu, August 25

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has undergone plasmapheresis in Singapore. Doctors say the PM Oli’s health is normal. PM Oli’s plasmapheresis (exchange of blood plasma) had begun on Friday at the National University Hospital of Singapore.

The treatment to remove harmful elements from blood will continue for a few days. The prime minister will be attended by both international and national doctors, informed PM’s press advisor Kundan Aryal.

PM Oli had left for Singapore on August 22 to restore the functioning capacity of kidneys after antibody started growing rapidly in his blood. Prior to his visit, the Prime Minister only returned from Singapore on August 12 after staying in the island country for nine days.

PM Oli has been accompanied by wife Radhika Shakya, chief political advisor Bishnu Rimal, private doctor Dibya Singh Shah, and personal secretary Rajesh Bajracharya.
