Parbat, November 17
One person died and seven persons were injured in an SUV accident in the Parbat district of Gandaki on Wednesday afternoon.
The vehicle (ga 1 Ja 5296) was heading to Mallaj Majhphant from Beni when it fell off the road at Mallaj, Jaljala rural municipality-2 of the district.
The vehicle’s driver, Dambar Bahadur Damai (37), succumbed to injuries in the accident, according to Suman Neure, the chief of the District Traffic Police Office.
Meanwhile, three of the injured have been referred to Pokhara of the neighbouring Kaski district whereas others are undergoing treatment at Beni Hospital in the Myagdi district.
