Butwal, April 23
One person died and 18 others were injured in a road accident in the Palpa district of Lumbini on Sunday morning.
The deceased, a woman, is yet to be identified.
Birendra Thapa, the District Police Office spokesperson, says the injured are undergoing treatment at Lumbini Medical College, Prabhas.
The bus (Lu 1 Kha 6956) heading towards Baglung from Butwal fell around 200 metres down the road at Jordhara, Tinau rural municipality-5 of the district.
Further investigation is underway.
