OPPO has unveiled its second-generation flip phone, the OPPO Find N3 Flip in China. The Find N3 Flip is the successor of the OPPO Find N2 Flip which was launched back in February in the global market. The N3 Flip has some new and exciting features added like the triple camera setup on the back and an alert slider. The hinge is also improved and the overall aesthetics of the phone is beautiful.
The flip phone and fold phone market is getting stronger and stronger as people want either a smaller smartphone that fits in their pocket or a tablet-sized display. The N3 Flip is also a strong competitor with the likes of Samsung Galaxy ZFlip 5 and Motorola Razr+.

Design and display
The OPPO Find N3 Flip has a similar design to its predecessor the OPPO Find N2 Flip. The major difference we can see is the triple-camera setup instead of a dual camera setup in the Find N2 Flip. The back is made up of plastic and the frame is made up of aluminium. The hinge is now more durable and sturdy with the new material called “Seiko Pseudo-cone Hinge”. This material is made of a special alloy that is strong and durable, yet flexible enough to allow the phone to fold and unfold smoothly.
The hinge can withstand up to 600,000 folds and also be folded at the lowest of -20°C and highest of 50°C temperature. It also has an alert slider which is a great feature and allows users to keep the phone on vibrate, silent and ring.
The OPPO Find N3 Flip has a dual-screen setup. The inner main screen is a 6.80-inch vibrant AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,520 x 1,080 pixels, offering a 403 PPI. It is capable of reaching 1,600 nits peak brightness and supports a wide colour gamut of 1.07 billion colours. It features an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz, with a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz. The inner screen is protected by Schott UTG Glass.
On the outer side, you have a convenient 3.26-inch AMOLED cover display with a resolution of 720 x 382 pixels and a brightness of 900 nits. It also supports a wide colour gamut and has a touch sampling rate of up to 120Hz, all while being safeguarded by Corning’s 7th generation Gorilla Glass. The outer screen is also advanced and almost all the apps can be used making it handy at times.
Performance and storage
The OPPO Find N3 Flip is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9,200 chipset, built on a 4nm manufacturing process. It has an octa-core CPU configuration which includes a Cortex-X3 core clocked at 3.05 GHz for high-performance tasks, three Cortex-A715 cores at 2.85 GHz for power and efficiency, and four Cortex-A510 cores running at 1.80 GHz for power-saving.
To complement the impressive CPU, it is equipped with the Immortalis-G715 MC11 GPU for handling graphics performance. It runs on the latest Android 13 operating system with ColorOS 13.2.
It has one RAM option of 12 GB which is paired with two storage options of 256 GB and 512 GB.
Camera
The OPPO Find N3 Flip is the first flip phone with a triple camera setup on the back which includes a 50MP main camera with a ƒ/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS). The remaining are a 32MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a broad 114° field of view, perfect for capturing expansive landscapes or close-up shots with its 4cm macro photography support.
The rear cameras support various shooting modes, including night scene, video, photo, portrait, professional, panorama, movie, slow motion, long exposure, time-lapse photography, cute shot, AI ID photo, super text, XPAN and high pixel. As for video, it can record 4K videos at 30fps or 1,080p videos at 60fps, as well as slow-motion video can be recorded at 1,080p (240fps) and 720p (480fps).
For selfies and video calling it has a 32MP selfie camera with a 90° field of view. It has various shooting modes like night scene, video, photo, portrait, panorama, time-lapse photography, cute shooting and AI ID. It can record 4k videos at 30fps, 1,080p videos at 30fps and 720p videos at 30fps. And of course, using the outer screen and the rear camera users can click more detailed and crisp selfies and videos.
Battery and others
The OPPO Find N3 Flip is powered by a Li-Po 4,300mAh battery. It supports 44W wired charging and also supports reverse wired charging to share power with other devices. As for connectivity, it supports super-fast Wi-Fi on different bands (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6/7) for excellent internet connectivity and Bluetooth 5.3 for connecting to other devices wirelessly. The phone features stereo speakers, ensuring high-quality sound for media and calls.
It has Nano-SIM cards and supports dual SIM cards. It is equipped with various sensors including a geomagnetic sensor, light sensor, proximity sensor, under-screen light sensor, acceleration sensor, gravity sensor, and gyroscope. These sensors enable location tracking, orientation detection, and even step counting for fitness tracking. For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock.
The phone comes in three colours: Moonlight Muse, Mist Rose, and Mirror Night.
The expected price of the OPPO Find N3 Flip in Nepal is Rs 125,000 for the 12/256GB variant and Rs 138,000 for the 12/512GB.
