Kathmandu, October 28
The Ministry of Health and Population says it will not organise daily press briefings to update the statistics about the Covid-19 spread in the country since Thursday.
The ministry had been organising the briefing every afternoon for the past seven months. However, speaking in the briefing today, the ministry’s spokesperson Jageshwor Gautam said the ministry would organise briefings twice a week–every Wednesday and Sunday–from now onwards.
Nevertheless, the ministry would update the data at 4:30 pm every afternoon on its website, Viber group, mobile app, and social media accounts, according to Gautam.
