
Kathmandu, August 31
Nine people working at the Chilime Hydropower Project in Rasuwa have been rescued following the flooding in the Bhotekoshi River.
According to Armed Police Force DSP Apar Pyakurel, those rescued are Narayan Bhattarai of Syangja; Ram Sundar Chaudhary, Arjun Chaudhary, Prem Chaudhary, Mahadev Dangaura, Shyam Narayan Kathariya and Bijay Dangaura of Kailali; and Prakash Bahadur Dhami and Umesh Dhami of Bajura.
They reached an Armed Police Force Border Outpost (BOP) via Rubi Valley, following which the Armed Police Force carried out their rescue.
The nine workers were subsequently moved to safety.
