Kathmandu, July 26

The government has arranged that Nepalis waiting to fly abroad can get Covid-19 vaccines at the two hospitals operated by Nepal Army and Nepal Police respectively in the capital.

The Ministry of Health and Population says those with a foreign visa can go to either of the hospitals and get Vero Cell vaccines. They must show their visa to get the jabs.

This will apply to both migrant workers and students, according to Dr Jhalak Sharma Gautam, the chief of the vaccination section under the Department of Health Services.

Meanwhile, the government developed a permanent Covid-19 vaccination centre at the Radha Swami Satsang Byas, Gongabu in Kathmandu.
