Nepal have reached the final of the ACC U19 Eastern Region Qualifiers by defeating Malaysia by seven wickets.
Nepal chased down the modest total of 88 runs in 15.5 overs.
It wasn’t smooth sailing though as Nepal lost three wickets for 30 runs. But a steady and composed partnership between captain Rohit Kumar Paudel and Bhim Sarki gave Nepal a comfortable victory. Sarki scored 33 runs whereas Paudel scored 31 runs.
Batting first, Malaysia struggled to cope with Nepal’s disciplined bowling and were all out 87 in 45.5 overs.
