Nepal thrashed China by 10 wickets in their first match of the ACC U19 Eastern Regional Qualifiers being held in Malaysia.
In the match played in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, Nepal achieved the 54 run targets in just five overs.
Elected to field first, Nepal had restricted China to mere 53 runs in the first innings. China were all out in just 23.1 overs.
In the second innings, Nepal’s Pawan Sarrha scored 46 runs in 21 balls and Rit Gautam made 10 runs in 10 balls.
Sarraf scored six fours and three sixes.
In the first innings, Nepal’s Sagar Dhakal took six wickets from China. Tilak Raj Bhandari and Kamal Singh Airee took three and one wickets respectively.
Nepal will play Singapore in their second match on Friday.
