Nepal Covid-19 tally crosses 4,000

Kathmandu, June 9

The Ministry of Health and Population has announced that the country’s Covid-19 infection tally has crossed 4,000 with 323 cases reported on Tuesday.

In his daily press briefing, the ministry’s spokesperson Jageshwor Gautam said the total number of cases in the country as of 4:15 pm on Tuesday is 4,085.

Of the, 584 people have been discharged from the hospitals, according to him.

So far, Nepal has recorded 15 Covid-19 deaths. On Tuesday morning, a new death case was confirmed in Chitwan, the official said.

Meanwhile, Gautam said the disease spread to 72 districts of the country so far.
