Nepal Covid-19 tally: 96 new cases, 111 recoveries, 3 death in 24 hours

Kathmandu, February 18

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 273,116 as of Thursday afternoon.

The ministry says 96 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours. 42 of these were from the Kathmandu valley.

In this period, 3,541 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 131,330 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 1,603 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 269,505 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,058 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 111 people have recovered whereas three deaths were reported. 

Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
