Nepal Covid-19 tally: 7,587 PCR, 73 antigen new cases and 55 deaths in 24 hours

Kathmandu, May 4

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 351,005 as of Tuesday afternoon.

The ministry says 7,587 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 16,131 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 537,295 people have been tested in the country.

Likewise, in this period, 571 people underwent antigen tests for the virus, of which an additional 73 were found infected.

As of today, 59,798 cases are active.

In the past 24 hours, 1,775 people have achieved recovery whereas 55 deaths have been reported.

Of the total cases so far, 287,790 people have achieved recovery. Likewise, 3,417 died, according to the ministry.

Over 250 are quarantined across the country.
