Nepal Covid-19 tally: 7,388 PCR and 60 antigen new cases in 24 hours

Kathmandu, May 3

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 343,418 as of Monday afternoon.

The ministry says 7,388 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 16,658 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 521,164 people have been tested in the country.

Likewise, in this period, 518 people underwent antigen tests for the virus, of which an additional 60 were found infected.

As of today, 54,041 cases are active.

In the past 24 hours, 2021 people have achieved recovery whereas 37 deaths have been reported.

Of the total cases so far, 286,015 people have achieved recovery. Likewise, 3,362 died, according to the ministry.

Nearly 70 are quarantined across the country.
