Nepal Covid-19 tally: 496 new cases, 138 recoveries, 13 deaths in 24 hours

Kathmandu, April 12

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 280,524 as of Monday afternoon.

The ministry says 496 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 4,383 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 317,284 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 3,306 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 274,165 people have achieved recovery whereas 3,053 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 138 people have been discharged whereas 13 deaths were reported. 

Over 80 people are quarantined across the country.
